Best Men’s Socks You Can Buy on Amazon

Feet hurt? Properly fitting shoes are not the only thing that contributes to foot health and comfort. The right socks can further enhance the fit and feel of a shoe, with styles designed for sport and dress wear, as well as those with therapeutic value that include compression socks.

In building a sock wardrobe, consider sport-specific socks. They are typically thicker, designed to absorb underfoot impact and shock when running or playing basketball. Since feet can sweat during these activities, many feature moisture-wicking properties to keep you cool and dry. Many are designed with arch support for an extra level of comfort.

Dress socks are anything but basic black and brown these days. Done in novelty patterns and colors, they add some unexpected fun and self-expression to a classic suit. Don’t be shy about letting them peek out from under your slacks.

For those looking for extra comfort and support, compression socks are gaining traction today. They apply gentle pressure to the legs and ankles to help eliminate foot fatigue and promote blood flow.

End the day with a pair of slipper socks, easy-to-wear styles that are both cozy and warm.

From dress socks to compression and athletic styles, FN has put together a sock closet that will take you through your week.

Melania Trump’s Best Shoe Style of 2019

Over three years as first lady, Melania Trump has homed in on a distinct style sensibility — and it includes lots of stilettos.

Trump is a particularly big fan of two classic, pointed-toe pumps: Manolo Blahnik’s BB and Christian Louboutin’s So Kate. She owns each silhouette in a wide range of colorways and fabrications, often matching them to her dresses for smartly coordinated looks.

Sometimes, Trump takes the coordination a step further —  choosing completely monochromatic outfits. She took on the monochrome trend in February, when she wore head-to-toe pale pink with BB pumps at a children’s hospital in Bethesda, Md.

In addition to her beloved So Kate pumps, Trump has been spotted in several other Christian Louboutin silhouettes over the course of the year. The stiletto lover has ditched her usual heels for sensible flats several times, including Louboutin’s Ballalla ($575 on Nordstrom.com).

While both Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin come at designer prices — the BB costs $625 and up on Nordstrom.com, while the So Kate will set you back $695 at Saksfifthavenue.com — Trump has occasionally mixed more affordable shoes into her wardrobe.

Emerging Designer Jelani Hankins Looks to Bring Shoemaking to New Orleans

Designer Jelani Hankins’ footwear roots are tied to New Orleans where his grandfather, Jules Edwards Jr., owned a shoe repair shop. And he, too, is looking to create impact in The Big Easy.

“My ultimate professional goal in footwear is to have a small-scale factory with an in-house brand that can offer design, development and manufacturing services,” Hankins said. “We will train local skilled laborers and offer a program for young adults to design and make footwear as portfolio pieces to submit when applying to college.”

Hankins, with the help of his family, is making this dream a reality. He’s building the factory in uptown New Orleans in a familiar location: his grandfather’s storefront.

During the conception and construction process, Hankins managed to churn out his first major professional milestone: his debut shoe, the Maximum Viable Product (MVP).

He released the luxe sneaker in August via Instagram in the “Matzeliger” colorway. It’s a black monochromatic look named after Jan Matzeliger, the inventor of the automatic shoe lasting machine. (Hankins included hidden details inspired by the invention throughout the shoe, including its patent number inside a window on the upper.)

These are accomplishments for anyone, let alone the youthful executive, who is doing all of this at just 23 years old.

Here, Hankins discusses what his next shoe release will be, how he creates and which footwear industry veterans have helped him along the way.

EDUCATION: “I’ve attended programs like Pensole in Portland [Ore.] and Arsutoria in Milan. And I learned pattern making and footwear construction one- on-one with many teachers from all over the world. I never went to college.”

ONGOING PROJECTS: “I am working to release the second colorway of my MVP sneaker and working with my family to renovate my late grandfather’s shoe repair shop into a small-scale footwear factory in uptown New Orleans.”

CURRENT ROLE: “I do design and development work for my own brand, Jelani, as well as independent work for other brands such as No.One, Twenty1Rich and Still Learning by Allen Van Norden.”

CREATIVE PROCESS: “I start with either the envisioned functionality for the shoe or the style of outfit to wear with the shoe. After some research, I will draw the idea on paper or go straight to drawing it on the last. I’ll make a pattern and initial sample myself before getting one made by a factory for production. This way, I have no doubts about the design and how it should look.”

MENTORS: “Safa Sahin, D’Wayne Edwards, Javier Laval, Cesar Idrobo and Shaun Forbes.”

BREAKTHROUGH DESIGN: “The MVP (Maximum Viable Product) is the first design I’ve made available to buy.”

SHOES I WEAR: “I wear my MVP sneakers, and occasionally, Reebok by Pyer Moss.”

Del Toro’s Co-Founder Talks Past Mistakes and How His New Blu Scarpa Brand Is Different

For Blu Scarpa, his next high-end footwear venture, Matt Chevallard is taking a drastically different approach to product than he did with the Del Toro label he co-founded in 2005.

“Consumers have so many options and their attention spans are so short, you have to hit the nail on the head and be direct about what you’re offering. Otherwise, it’s lost in the mix,” Chevallard said. “I went from offering a Crayola box of options to just two now.”

Abandoning the 100-plus SKUs per season model of Del Toro, the entrepreneur launched Blu Scarpa last month with the La College penny loafer and the La Runner sneaker. Chevallard sees brands such as Tod’s and Gucci as competitors for the La College, and Common Projects, Lanvin and Nike for the La Runner.

The looks, which he described as the “perfect arsenal for the modern man,” are handmade in Italy and retail for $425.

“I saw a void in designer shoes. I want a uniform, something when I travel — whether it’s a week or two weeks or two days — it’s two shoes [that work] for every function. Something that goes well with everything,” he said.

The shoes debuted on Nov. 7 in Miami at The Webster and a pop-up shop in the Office art gallery.

Although Chevallard revealed the brand at brick-and-mortar, his focus will primarily be on e-commerce. Ideally, he’d like 70% of the sales to come from Bluscarpa.com.

“Wholesale is certainly not dead, but it’s challenged,” said the designer. “You need wholesale for credibility, for exposure, but that can slap you in the face when you don’t sell through quick enough. You have to be careful because the shelf life and ability to capture people’s attention and convert a transaction is that much harder today.”

How to Get the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Yeezreel’ That Comes Out This Weekend

Kanye West and Adidas are giving sneakerheads something to put on their holiday wishlists.

The rapper turned designer and the German sportswear brand today announced the release of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Yeezreel,” which will be available for purchase on Saturday, Dec. 14. The shoe will sell for $220 on Adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezysupply.com, on the Adidas app and in select retailers.

The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features Adidas’ signature Boost cushioning technology in the midsole, a Primeknit woven upper and a rubber outsole. The “Yeezreel” colorway has volt-based upper with black accents and turquoise laces. The shoe features a semi-translucent stripe running across the lateral side from heel to toe.

Yeezy shoes tend to sell out quickly, but customers hoping to snag a style from the buzzy line at retail before Christmas are in luck. Three other Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorways are reportedly on tap for December: “Yeezreel Glow RF” on Dec. 17, “Yechiel RF” on Dec. 19, and “Yechiel” on Dec. 20, according to sneaker leaker account Yeezy Mafia. All styles are expected to cost $220.

In addition to the 350 V2 colorways, Yeezy Mafia reports that the Yeezy Boost 700 V3, a new silhouette in the Boost 700 franchise, will drop on Dec. 23. The shoe will purportedly retail for $180.

West earned $150 million before taxes in the past year, according to Forbes, with the bulk of his income coming from the Adidas Yeezy collaboration. The sneaker line is reportedly on pace to do $1.5 billion in sales the year, putting it in competition with Jordan Brand, which brings in around $3 billion annually.

These Spring 2020 Shoes Are Totally ’90s

It’s nearly 2020, but in fashion the ‘90s are as alluring as ever. On Instagram, nostalgia accounts like @90sanxiety have tapped into the Dr. Martens, biker shorts and spaghetti straps worn then by the likes of Cameron Diaz, Winona Ryder and Gwyneth Paltrow, “It” girls of the decade. Nowadays, Gen Z “VSCO girls” don an endless supply of scrunchies and brands like By Far purvey Rachel Green style and Princess Diana-inspired heels. Even anklets and toe rings are making their comebacks.

For spring ’20, the wood clog is making a roaring comeback. From Kate Spade’s collaboration with Dr. Scholl’s and homages of the silhouette from brands like Roger Vivier and By Far to Fabrizio Viti’s denim-covered version with very-Drew-Barrymore daisy embellishments. And with news of a “Clueless” reboot coming in 2020, the clog revival feels appropriate.

Platforms, flatforms and square toes — all most recent relics of the ’90s — have also been on rotation in 2019 and spring ’20 collections are hinting that they will continue to dominate next year.

But there’s also proof that, for better or worse, the 20-year trend cycle will hold: Low rises, cargo pants and baguette bags have all crept back into celebrity and street style. And those strappy sandals with lower heels were one of the major footwear trends that ushered in the new millennium.

Is All Hope Lost for Department Stores? Why Moody’s Says the Prospects Are ‘Bleak’

Moody’s is feeling down on department stores.

The credit rating agency today slashed its outlook for the sector citing ongoing top-line disappointments in the space.

“Despite a very healthy consumer and heavy spending to improve inventory efficiency and online capabilities, department stores rang up a disappointing third quarter close on the heels of a very bleak first half,” Christina Boni, Moody’s senior credit officer, wrote in a client note, adding that the firm cut its operating income growth forecast for the sector again, to a 20% decline in 2019 versus its previously-forecasted 15% decline.

While Boni anticipates that department stores will “remain among the worst performers of retail” into 2020 — describing prospects as “increasingly bleak” — she said she does expect sharp declines in the space to abate significantly in the new year, with operating income stabilizing at a 1% projected decrease.

Department stores have taken investors on a roller coaster ride for the better part of three years as its key names teeter between glimmers of hope and signals of demise.

The third-quarter had been a mixed bag for most of the sector’s players — with Kohl’s and Macy’s citing unseasonably warm fall temperatures for their disappointing results as Nordstrom’s performance painted a more positive picture of the sector. The latter this month, filed Q3 earnings per diluted share of 81 cents, trouncing Wall Street’s forecasts of earnings per share of 64 cents. Its revenues, at $3.67 billion, were in line with analysts’ bets.

Macy’s, meanwhile, slashed its fiscal year guidance after posting on Nov. 21 its first Q3 same-store sales decline in two years. Nevertheless, its adjusted earnings per share of 7 cents topped analysts’ expectations of a break-even point while revenues were down 4.3% to $5.17 billion, versus Wall Street’s bets of $5.32 million. Its same-store sales dropped 3.5%.

JCPenney signaled it had some turnaround potential when it posted a narrower-than-expected third-quarter loss on Nov. 3 and upgraded its full-year outlook. The firm saw its adjusted net loss per share improve 37.5% to 29 cents — far better than Wall Street’s bets of a 55-cent loss. Still, the beleaguered retailer posted revenues that decreased 10.1% to $2.38 billion, while adjusted same-store sales were down 6.6%.

Kohl’s on Nov. 19 logged adjusted diluted earnings per share of 74 cents — well below Wall Street’s forecast of 86 cents. Profits dropped to $123 million, compared with $161 million the prior year. Same-store sales, which grew 2.5% in the same quarter last year, increased slightly by 0.4% this Q3, versus expected growth of 0.8%. Like Macy’s, it also slashed its guidance for the year.

For struggling retailers, preliminary Thanksgiving weekend results had signaled that the holiday season was off to a solid start: According to Salesforce, global online sales saw a 15% gain to $768 billion during the unofficial holiday season kick-off weekend. But Moody’s suggested today that the competitive landscape has yielded an “extremely promotional” environment during the all-important holiday season.

“Fewer days between Thanksgiving and Christmas relative to last year could exacerbate the promotional environment,” Boni added. The weakness at mainline department stores come as off-price retail players TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington and Ross have managed to eke out steady gains by leveraging their generally lower prices on branded wares and a thrill of the hunt/find environment.

Despite Moody’s negative outlook, department stores looked to end the trading day in the green on Monday. As of 4 p.m. ET, Macy’s was up 2.2% to $15.48; Nordstrom advanced 3.6% to $38.91; Kohl’s was up 3.3% to $48.71; and JCPenney had gained 1.8% to $1.15.

When it comes to red carpet dressing, Emma Watson is capable of real-life magic.

All eyes were on the “Harry Potter” alum at the premiere of “Little Women” last night in New York.

Watson wore head-to-heel Balenciaga, going monochrome in all black. She wore a Victorian-inspired, tulle-accented gown from the label’s spring ’20 collection.

A Balenciaga beaded, shell-shaped clutch ($1,690 on 24s.com) and Fred Leighton jewels completed the look. Watson stars as the eldest of the four March sisters, Meg, in the latest adaptation of the classic Louisa May Alcott novel, with Saoirse Ronan (Jo), Florence Pugh (Amy) and Eliza Scanlan (Beth) portraying her three sisters.

Ronan hit the red carpet in a look straight off the Gucci spring ’20 runway. The “Lady Bird” actress sported a black-and-white dress with sheer sleeves and turquoise gemstones. Like Watson, she wore boots. Ronan’s shoes combined two major trends of the season: knee-highs and platforms.

Baldwin has developed a reputation as a street style star over the years, thanks to her willingness for experimentation and trendsetting choices. She was named FN’s Style Influencer of the Year in 2017.

“It’s about not being afraid to mix things together,” Baldwin told FN of her wardrobe. “Being comfortable is really important. Even if I’m in heels, I make sure I’m in sweats or not something that’s super-tight from top to bottom. I also like doing something really simple, such as wearing a minidress with thigh-high heels because I like that ’90s long-leg vibe.”

In terms of shoes, the A-lister has been spotted in a wide range of styles from brands such as Jimmy Choo, Nike and Off-White.

An Electric Yellow Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN Is Rumored for Release in 2020

Kanye West is keeping the neon trend alive in 2020.

According to sneaker leaker Yeezy Mafia, the rapper has an electric yellow Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN “Phosphor” due to release next spring.

The Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN is a new Yeezy model that fans first learned of in October. Unlike the other shoes in the Yeezy 700 franchise, the MNVN has a nylon upper (others have featured a mix of suede, leather and mesh). The sneaker is printed with large “700” branding on the upper; it has full-length Boost cushioning in the midsole and a rubber outsole for traction.

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

The “Phosphor” has a highlighter yellow upper, a black sole and hints of black at the toebox and on the tongue. Yeezy Mafia says it will sell for $220 at its release in the spring, considerably less than the $300 retail cost of other Yeezy Boost 700 sneakers.

Fans hoping to get their hands on the Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN silhouette a bit earlier can expect two colorways to drop in early 2020. Neon lovers can look forward to the tangerine-hued “Orange” colorway, while sneakerheads looking for something more classic can anticipate the “Triple Black” colorway, which West himself was spotted wearing.

In related news, several colorways of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 are expected this month. According to  Yeezy Mafia, fans can look forward to four sneaker drops: “Yeezreel” on Dec. 14, “Yeezreel Glow RF” on Dec. 17, “Yechiel RF” on Dec. 19, and “Yechiel” on Dec. 20.

In the age of Instagram and Snapchat, what consumers most want is authenticity, concurred the Bad Ass Business Executives (B.A.B.E.) panel onstage at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology on Thursday, Dec. 5.

Panelist Jennifer Edwards, mindset director at trend forecaster WGSN, added that “people are emboldened and empowered to be themselves,” rather than to try and be perfect.

“We’re a generation living in a time when people are more educated than they’ve ever been,” Edwards explained. “They have the ability to be themselves. And what’s really going to shine through is authenticity.”

Heritage sneaker brand Keds is making strides toward greater authenticity by looking back at its history. The label made a commitment in 2016 to “talk the talk and walk the walk” by homing in on women’s product, according to president Gillian Meek.

“We decided in 2016 that we were going to focus on our women’s history to be authentic,” Meek said. “It’s important for us to have a different point of view than who we compete against. With any consumer products, you have to be different. Otherwise, why would you buy my brand?”

Going into 2020, the brand has rolled out a “Women Made” platform, which Meek said means “don’t put me in a box, don’t define me, I can be a thousand different things on any day.”

But the exec said Keds, which was founded in 1916, has “a lot of work to do” still to remain relevant.

“Our consumer, we’ve spent a lot of time listening to her over the past year, and she is pushing us to look more like her today,” Meek said. “For me, we have to be really careful; we have to be really honest. We can’t change our history, but we certainly have to be more inclusive, more open and more relevant to what our consumer is looking for.”

Co-panelist Katie Kitchens, founder of subscription box service FabFitFun, said her consumers are also looking for authenticity, which is something she’s strived to find with her influencer marketing.

“We really look for women and men showcasing their most authentic selves across their social media networks. It’s OK to see everything isn’t perfect,” Kitchens said, explaining that she looks more for strong engagement than for high follower counts.

“When Jennifer Aniston tells me to go buy vitamin water, that’s fine. I mean, a very talented, beautiful, amazingly rich actress is telling me to do that,” Kitchens added. “But frankly, when Lisa Rinna tells me to do something, I’m like, ‘Oh hey, friend, I totally loved what you were doing last weekend and believe that I deserve this FabFitFun box.’”

Other panelists included investor Fran Hauser, author of “Myth of the Nice Girl,” and singer Melissa Walker, founder of Jazz House Kids.

Below, Gillian Meek explains how her career led her to Keds.

Jennifer Lopez Hosts ‘SNL’ in THE Versace Dress With Matching Leaf-Print Sandals

Jennifer Lopez knows how to cause a stir.

The pop star arrived on the “Saturday Night Live” stage in New York yesterday clad a tuxedo. But by the time her opening monologue was over, J-Lo had changed in the Versace dress she wore to close the label’s spring ’20 Milan Fashion Week show.

Lopez’s outfit change was a speedy one. After performing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” alongside the Radio City Rockettes, she hid behind the dance troop to pull on the gown, which she teamed with the same shoes she’d worn on the runway: leaf-emblazoned, strappy green sandals.

The jungle-print, plunging gown is a reissued version of the dress Lopez wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards, which famously led to such a high number of search queries that Google Images was born.

The “Hustlers” actress generated nearly as much buzz with her look at MFW in September. When Lopez shared an initial video of the moment to Instagram, her post performed 2.5 times better than her average, with an engagement rate of 3.4% (high for Instagram), according to data from Social Studies.

The influencer marketing agency noted that J-Lo also experienced significant follower growth. She added 165,000 new followers the day of the Versace show, tacking on around 141,000 the following day — about double her typical daily gains.

Gal Gadot Teams a Two-Tone Givenchy Dress With Strappy Sandals at Comic Con Brazil

Gal Gadot took on fall’s beige trend at Comic Con in São Paulo, Brazil today as she promoted “Women Woman 1984.”

Gadot, 34, wore a chic two-tone beige and white midi dress from Givenchy. The knit dress featured a cut-out accent at the midriff and a pleated skirt.

On her feet, the Israeli actress wore strappy white sandals. The shoes had a rounded toe and were set on a slim stiletto heel.

Her dress’ beige colorway adhered to a major trend of the moment, as tan and brown are popular choices this fall. The neutral colorways have found favor among stars such as Hailey Baldwin and Bella Hadid.

Givenchy appears to be a favorite brand for Gadot. The French house made the A-lister’s 2019 Met Gala look: a white lace cape dress with matching black boots and a pearl headdress.

Although both her Met Gala footwear and today’s sandals boasted high heels, Gadot is famous for her willingness to wear flats on the red carpet.

At the 2017 premiere of “Wonder Woman,” the star wore flat gold Aldo sandals — priced at a budget-friendly $50 — with a sparkly red dress.

Where to Buy Orthaheel Shoes and Vionic Inserts Online

Veranda's low-profile construction features a thin-wrapped footbed

The Orthaheel orthotic technology was developed by deceased Australian podiatrist Phillip Vasyli in 1979. A pioneer and innovator in the field of lower-limb biomechanics, Phillip was known by friends and colleagues as a “born healer”.

Unfortunately, his life came to a tragic end on March 24, 2015, when he was found stabbed to death at his home in the upscale Old Fort Bay neighborhood in Nassau, Bahamas. Donna Vasyli, his wife with whom he had two children, was charged with the murder.

Despite the death of its founder, his company Vionic has continued growing thanks to the unique Orthaheel technology developed by Phillip Vasyli.

Are Vionic shoes good for your feet?

With over 30 years of research and development, Vionic men’s and women’s sandals, slippers, active shoes, and casual flats promote natural alignment from the ground up. It is recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).

Yes, since they come in wide widths and are adjustable, Vionic shoes are great for bunions. By cradling your foot in an ideal position, orthopedic footwear can prevent pain and stop new bony bumps from forming.

In addition to avoiding tight, ill-fitting shoes, you may try using bunion booties (available at Amazon) to relieve pressure and toe caps (available at Amazon) to protect your toes from rubbing and friction.

12 Shoe Addict T-Shirts to Gift Shoe-Obsessed Friends

We all have a shoe-obsessed friend. She can rattle off every footwear designer when quizzed, and probably has a shoe closet that can rival that of Carrie Bradshaw.

For a woman who has way too many shoes, it’s probably a cliché to buy her even more pairs for her birthday or Christmas. If you can’t think of what to give your shoe-obsessed friend — apart from footwear — here’s a novel idea: T-shirts.

We’ve rounded up 12 of the cutest shoe design tees for footwear addicts.

Statement tees are always fun to give as presents, especially when they’re clever and quirky. Put a smile on your friend’s face by gifting her one of these adorable shoe-holic tees we found online.

If your friend loves to collect beautiful shoe sketches by world-class designers, she might enjoy wearing these beautiful shoe print tees. Some even come embellished with feathers, faux roses, ribbons, and pearls.

6. Shoe Print Classic T-Shirt, $106 at Farfetch

Wearing a printed T-shirt tends to be a way of making a statement, even if subconsciously. Many labels have many different prints, and while it’s true that you can choose from a never-ending array of labels, it can also be hard to know where to start.

That’s where Marc Jacobs‘ classic printed tees come in. This black cotton shoe print classic tee features a ribbed round neck, short sleeves, a relaxed fit, a straight hem and a colored shoe graphic print at the front.

We get a huge kick out of seeing behind-the-scenes sketches from shoe designers. If we had to choose between statement and shoe art tees, we’d probably go for the art tees, because they’re such a fun way of paying homage to our love of shoes. But, we wouldn’t hesitate to grab a statement tee for laughs.

Which one will you get your friend for her birthday or Christmas?

4 Best Boot Storage Inserts & Shapers to Keep Boots From Slouching

Depending on who you ask, there isn’t too much to love about the cold. However, one perk? Cute winter-wear! While we do love seasonally cozy coats, sweaters and scarves, we’re obviously most excited about boots.

If you’re picking up a new pair of boots this season — particularly knee– or thigh-high boots — make sure you’re taking good care of them throughout their life by storing them properly. Not only can boots get bent out of shape, but creases can also lead to permanent leather damage.

Fortunately, we have found solutions to properly store and keep your boots in great shape for months on end. These tips for how to store boots are a great way to not only extend the life of your favorite footwear but also to keep your closet looking clean.

Also, make sure to check out these fantastic boot shapers and shoe storage ideas!

1. Foldable Shoe Clips, $11.28 at Amazon

Simple yet practical, these foldable shoe clips are made out of durable plastic that is light enough to even travel with. The clips can bend up to 180 degrees which is ideal for adjusting to the shoe length and opening width.

ONEDONE Folding Boot Shaper Clip Support Stand (5 Pack)

Unlike separates, one clip will hold a pair together. This makes storage less bulky while still keeping your boots in great shape.

The set comes in a pack of five different colored clips. The adorable heart-shaped loops allow for the pairs to hang inside your closet.

2. Boot Racks

If you’re looking for something a bit more permanent in your room, you might want to consider a boot rack. A great way to make your room look like a fashionista’s dream is to have your gorgeous boots on display in beautiful wood-and-metal pieces.

INNOKA 4-pair boot rack organizer, $39.99 – $40.18 at Amazon

Some racks have single poles while others are more considerate in boot shaping. Personally, we would go for the ones that work on the boot width as well. Just make sure that they don’t stretch out the leather beyond what is necessary.

These racks come sets that organize three to four pairs each.

3. Form Shaping Boot Inserts, $9.99 at Amazon

For those who are more low key, we recommend form shaping boot inserts. Unlike the clips, these inserts come in sets of two and are less visible than some of these other suggestions.

Household Essentials CedarFresh Boot Shaper Form Inserts

They come in either curved plastic pieces or adjustable tree shapers. Curved plastic options put less pressure on the shoe material, adjusting fluidly to the opening shape of the shoe.

4. Boot Trees Form Shaping Inserts, $21.95 at Amazon

You may also want to consider tree form inserts. They have two pieces attached to the stem which are held together by spring-like metal pieces.

Silvermoon Brand Boot Trees Form Shaping Inserts

While this might seem like the more heavy-duty option, make sure that the springs do exert too much pressure on the sides of the boot.

Tension from the inside may also lead to cracking and deformation.

Some things to consider: What kind of storage room do you have in your closet? Will you be hanging the boots or not? Do you prefer to keep them out of sight or out in the open?

After figuring out what best suits your needs and wants, head on out to Amazon to shop for the best boot shapers for your beloved footwear. All of these are great options, it just depends on personal preference.
