And the newly minted 21-year-old kept the streak going with a sultry post today, sharing two images of herself in a casual ensemble posed on the porch.
In the snaps, Jenner sports a leopard-print tanktop with a pair of Travis Scott sweatpants, which read “Astroworld” on one leg and “Wish You Were Here” on the other.
Jenner and Scott have been dating for more than a year and have a child together, daughter Stormi. So, it comes as no surprise that the reality star would wear sweats in support of the rapper.
As for her footwear, Jenner selected chunky Adidas Originals by Alexander Wang trainers. The makeup mogul has worn looks by Wang often in recent months, even accompanying the designer to the Met Gala. And with both Adidas Yeezy designer Kanye West and Adidas Originals ambassador Kendall Jenner in the family, the athletic wear giant is a logical choice for Jenner.
The particular kicks she chose are the AW Turnout Trainer Sneakers, which are suede and nylon canvas low-tops in black with a sculpted rubber midsole. The on-trend shoes retail for $250 and are available for purchase now.
While we’re definitely proponents of test-driving exciting new denim trends, sometimes a fresh pair of classic skinny jeans is just what your closet needs. And if you’re not willing to shell out a lot of money for a new pair, Kendall Jenner has an idea for you. Photographed in Los Angeles, the model wore American EagleNext Level High Waisted Jeans($50), which have glowing reviews on the brand’s website. She teamed the jeans with the American Eagle Denim Cami Crop Top($17) and a coordinating denim Chanel bag.
A lot of shoppers noted how comfortable the stretchy fabric is while other reviews mentioned how flattering they are. It’s no surprise, then, that American Eagle labeled the jeans as best sellers—so they’re pretty much a safe bet. More and more brands are embracing size inclusivity, but a major downside remains in the quest to find your perfect fit: Many retailers only offer larger sizes online, not in-store. Old Navy, however, is here to make your life that much easier. As Glamour reports, the brand is bringing back a slew of size options to its stores. Now, 75 stores across the country will stock sizes 00 to 30.
Old Navy Senior Vice President Loretta Choy told Glamour about the strategy behind the decision: “The most important thing when you’re building out a plus line and bringing it in stores is addressing all the pain points; we saw an opportunity to improve the plus collection and build a loyal customer in the online space before returning to the physical retail environment,” she told the magazine. I know, I know—summer’s end sucks. No more Summer Fridays, no more lazy beach days, and no more sundresses. While everything about summer brings a smile to your face, there are a few fall things I think will bring you an equal amount of joy if you let them. Beyond the obvious pumpkin spice lattes, falling of the leaves, and succession of holidays to come, the fashion that comes along in the fall season is notably more interesting than summer’s, if you ask me.
Thanks to the drop in temperatures, you have the opportunity to get more creative with your fall outfits, via layering, coat stacking, and more. To prove to you that the coming of fall isn’t the equivalent of the world ending, I have picked out 10 fall outfit ideas that will actually get you excited for what this next season has in store. Between the animal-print sweaters and shiny statement coats, I honestly don’t see what’s not to love.
Let’s discuss my favorite fashion topic: shoes. They’re the piece I always start with when it comes to a new season and with the summer swiftly wrapping up, fall shoes are currently top of mind.
Before I begin to think about coats or sweaters or all of the layers I may need to pile on as the temperatures begin to drop, it’s shoes that are poised at the top of my personal shopping list. There’s one easy reason—they’re the easiest piece to begin wearing in a transitional wardrobe between seasons. While boots are often added to outfits during the later fall months, heels are a great place to start because you can wear them now with all of your jeans and summer dresses.
Are you curious to know what the biggest heel trends will be for fall? Below I’m highlighting five heel styles that will be on the feet of every cool fashion girl in the month ahead. Yes, you’ll be spotting these on your Instagram feed and all over the street style scene at fashion month. Get a head start on your shopping now and add the coolest fall heel trends of 2018 to your cart.
It’s perhaps not uncommon when you hear that a major celebrity has launched a fashion line all their own. However, you’re less likely to assume that a regular member of the A-list has trouble finding what they want in the market, especially with their level of access. That’s essentially the story of how Rooney Mara launched Hiraeth.
The line of clothing and shoes which launched earlier this month is a project inspired by Mara’s own vegan lifestyle. “I have been vegan for about seven years now, and when I decided to also transition my wardrobe into being vegan I found there was a real lack of options of higher quality pieces,” she tells us. Hiraeth—a Welsh word that translates roughly to the feeling of homesickness—is the result of Mara taking matters into her own hands, along with her business partners and friends, Sara Schloat and Chrys Wong.
With a collection that’s dedicated to being entirely animal-product free, Hiraeth not only impressed shoppers with its elegant, elevated designs when it released in Barneys New York this month, it’s also already sold out. Thankfully there’s more to come from this slow fashion line, and below we got the scoop from Hiraeth’s three leaders on the brand’s point of view and what we can expect next.
We all have those go-to brands we admire and cherish—whether it’s a luxury label we turn to for an investment piece or an affordable retailer to get our trendy fashion fix. But have you ever wondered what brands celebrity stylists admire most and why? We tapped some of our favorite fashion stylists, who have collectively dressed some of the most stylish celebrities in the business—from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Bosworth, and Sienna Miller to Sharon Stone, Russell Brand, and Paul Rudd (to name just a few). These fashion experts are on the cutting edge of what to wear, how to wear it, and what to buy right now, so scroll below for insider intel on the go-to brands they love most. Then—naturally—shop our picks.
“Isabel Marant has always been my go-to. She is consistent in providing super-wearable, effortless, cool, sexy, stylish collections. She never lets me down. I have clothes of hers from 12 years ago that are still on trend. Whatever your mood or the occasion, she will have something you need. She is the epitome of French style.” — Cher Coulter
“I have many favorite designers and brands, but lately I feel especially obsessed with the ones who are doing equal parts artistic expression and environmentally conscious or who are thinking about how to use fashion to bring people and cultures together. Someone who really stands out to me is Stella McCartney. Her mission statement is “We are agents of change. We challenge and push boundaries to make luxurious products in a way that is fit for the world we live in today and the future: beautiful and sustainable. No compromises.” I also truly admire Haitian Italian designer Stella Jean, who says she experiments with cross-border fertilization, spreading counter-colonization and inspiring multiculturalism. My hope is that in the very near future all brands will be sustainable.” — Leesa Evans
“Valentino seems to be the brand I love most, and I even have proof as to why! I compile a best dressed list on my Instagram feed every Friday called ‘Style Standouts’ (women with beautiful style who stand out among all the rest). Looking back on my posts, I have chosen Valentino more than any other brand! Simple, ‘pretty’ looks are a dime a dozen on the red carpet, but it’s a bit more complex to wear something that’s captivating and doesn’t steal focus from the woman wearing it. Valentino seems to pull this off frequently. I also dig their menswear for the same reasons.” — George Kotsiopoulos
Welcome to #WhoWhatWearing, a series where we highlight you, our stylish community of readers. Each of the following looks came straight from the photos you tagged us in on Instagram. Want to be featured next time? You guessed it: Use #WhoWhatWearing on the outfit posts you want us to see.
Earmuffs, summer lovers: Fall is coming. Almost gone are the days of sundresses and sandals, sunshine and rosé. But on the bright side, that means it’s just about time to pull out your favorite denim and ankle boots to tackle the fall trends with. As you may have heard from some of our previous stories, we’re really excited about this season’s trend cycle. From head-to-toe animal print to modern cowboy to ’80s plaid, I’m already mentally planning my fall wardrobe.
It seems our readers, on the other hand, are ahead of the game and already wearing fall’s major trends IRL. They’re sprinkling elements of neon, logomania, and animal print all over their summer looks—and nailing it, if I do say so myself. If you’re looking to follow their lead and start peppering fall pieces into your wardrobe immediately, keep scrolling to see how our chicest readers are doing so, and prepare to be inspired.
Simply put, I can’t wait for fall. Aside from the upcoming season’s fresh crop of trends and the ability to wear ankle boots again, I’m possibly the happiest because, above all, it signifies that sweater weather is coming! After months of heat, humidity, and an inability to wear anything beyond a T-shirt with jeans, if the idea of throwing on a stylish and comfortable sweater doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what will. However, since you are reading this, I’ll assume we’re on the same page, so simply continue on to shop my 37 favorite sweaters for the season ahead, broken down by classics, cardigans, and, of course, some statement styles.
Now that swimsuit season is coming to a close, I think it’s high time we shift our focus to footwear that’s a little more substantial than we’ve been wearing for the past several months. Clearly I’m not the only one with that mindset. The hottest fall shoes are already selling out left and right and if that sends you into a post-sandal season panic, it should. Which is why I took it upon myself to present to you the shoes that I’m confident will be wiped out by September. (You can trust me—I’ve been stalking them.) Some sizes are already gone but don’t give up the good fight—they may still be available on other sites.
I highly encourage you to not waste any more time and keep scrolling to get your hands on the shoes that are too hot to last another month.
