You won’t have much of a problem finding something to match with this new colorway of the Nike Air VaporMax 3. The lightweight runner from Nike gets blanketed with a light grey ribbed Flyknit construction all over the upper with a slightly lighter shade of grey seen on the tongue, laces, elastic ankle, and the heel counter. For contrast we see black Swooshes, tan tongue tags, and gum detailing on the blue tinted VaporMax sole unit. Be on the lookout for the Grey Gum colorway of the Nike Air VaporMax 3 to release soon for $200.
A classic color scheme lands on this new colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 as the popular combination of black, red, and grey are put together once again. Black takes care of a good portion of the upper, most notably the nubuck mudguard and the mesh paneling around the eyestays. Two different shades of grey are then seen running across the side panels all the way back to the heel. The pops of red appear on the ribbon eyelets, the branding on the tongue and heel, and on the Air Max bubbles on the midsole. 3M capabilities on the heel and a black rubber midsole and outsole wrap up the look on this Air Max 95 that’ll be dropping real soon at select Nike stockists.

Introduced last month, here is a first look at this all-White version of the upcoming Nike Air Max 2090.
The Nike Air Max 2090 celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 90. Leveraging the same DNA that made the Air Max 90 so iconic and future-forward 30 years ago, the Air Max 2090 is designed to illustrate what the future holds.
What’s new in the Air Max 2090:
- Color Blocking: Color blocking was instrumental in the development of the original Air Max 90, with darker colors underscoring the strength in the shoe’s support structure. In that same vein, the 2090 relays this through levels of opacity — the most supportive materials are 100 percent opaque, and the least supportive (and lighter weight) materials are see-through.
- Air Unit: With the aim of all-day comfort, the Air Max 2090 employs a larger Air unit than its originator, with a 200 percent larger window than traditional side-visibility Air units seen 30 years ago.
- Cropped Swoosh: The iconic Nike Swoosh was first cropped below on the Air Max 90, and the Swoosh of Air Max 2090 — though updated — follows the same design ethos.
- Flexibility: Echoing the Air Max 90’s waffle outsole, the Air Max 2090 also employs distinct grooves for flexibility and takes original tread lines and updates the pattern for performance in 2020
What remains the same:
- Air Max 90 Mudguard: One of the three key elements voted upon by Air Max 90 wearers, the Air Max 2090 mudguard remains untouched from the original.
- Air Max 90 Cassette: This design element, which surrounds and highlights the Air unit, is iconically featured in the shoe’s original design and was a must-keep element in the Air Max 2090.
- Air Max 90 Heel Logo: The classic heel logo first employed by the Air Max 90 is reflected in
This colorway of the Nike Air Max 2090 dons a White upper with a transparent coating overlay that also appears on the tongues. Retailing for $140, the Nike Air Max 2090 White is set to release very soon at select retailers and Nike.com.
Over the past couple of months, Nike has been showcasing new printed motifs on their Nike React Presto silhouette. Off the top of my head, I’ve seen the tiger print, Galaxy print and the Forest print grace the entire upper of the mode. Today we add another pattern to the list as a cracked design is placed throughout the upper of this pair.
Shown above, the Nike React Presto starts off with a White base. The clean aesthetic of the shoe is then covered in a Light Blue cracked pattern that covers its entire upper. More of the same hue is found on the Swoosh branding, as well as parts of the insole and outsole. Other details on the shoe include the milky lace cage and the Orange contrasting accents noted on the heel, insoles and parts of the React sole unit.
Retailing for $130, look for this Nike React Presto to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and Nike.com.

adidas’ Xeno effect has made its way onto the popular adidas Nite Jogger with this pair that we see pictured above.
This women’s adidas Nite Jogger takes on a predominantly black upper that has been constructed out of mesh with leather overlays. The iridescent Xeno detailing has been placed on the three stripes branding on the side panels as well as on the ankle and toe. For another pop of color we see the addition of a pink on the inner heel and heel tab, which is also 3M. A blacked out Boost midsole with a matching rubber outsole wrap things up on this adidas Nite Jogger that will be releasing on March 1st for $130.
Strongman Eddie Hall is no stranger to setting world records. He holds the all-time deadlift record at 500kg (1,102 lbs.); the axle press world record at 476 lbs.; and an unofficial silver dollar deadlift (a deadlift with a barbell double the height of an average one) world record at 1,182 lbs.
And while he may be retired from Strongman competitions, Hall’s apparently not quite done setting world records.
The 2017 World’s Strongest Man recently set the world record for the Isabel CrossFit workout, which consists of 30 snatches with 135 lbs. for time, at the CrossFit European Championships.
Hall didn’t just break the old record of 1:20, previously held by CrossFit legend Rich Froning, he smashed it at 50.9 seconds.
Watch him in action here:
I said I was gonna smash the crossfit world record for the GRACE/ISABEL workout, and here it is 🏋♀ Big shout out to @theeuropeanchampionships for hosting me, loved my first crossfit event’ il be back for another 💪 Head to my YouTube channel to watch the full vid’ Link in bio ↖️ #BackUpYourBull #WorldRecord Big Love Team Beast
He made it look easy, but Hall admits in a YouTube video that the feat actually took quite a lot out of him. “Does it count if you die?” he joked while catching his breath.
CrossFit enthusiasts catch a lot of flack from internet trolls and gym bros, but “The Beast” has nothing but admiration for its athletes. “Like all due respect to CrossFit, that’s tough,” he told the crowd. “Really hard.”
Hall only announced his intention to try to break the record about a week ago in a YouTube video. While he’s undoubtedly strong, the conditioning needed to hoist 135 lbs. in the air multiple times must have taken some serious training.
And now, he’s challenging anyone who thinks they can beat his new record to give it a shot. “I’ve thrown the gauntlet down,” he says in his YouTube video. “If anyone in the CrossFit world, or the Strongman world, or powerlifting world thinks they can beat that well then have a go. Cause I guarantee you’ll have a heart attack.”
Who’s going to accept his challenge?
The abdominal plank is a staple in plenty of fitness regimens, but it’s safe to say most people aren’t exactly thrilled when a trainer calls for it during bootcamp class. Just a minute or two of planking will get the average gym goer’s core feeling like it’s on fire, so it’s impossible to imagine how former marine George Hood felt after planking for 8 hours, 15 minutes, and 15 seconds to set a new Guinness World Record.
It would be an impressive feat at any age, but the fact that Hood set the record for “longest time in the plank position (male)” at 62 years old makes it all the more incredible and proves that age is truly just a number when you prioritize training. And this isn’t the first time he’s done it, either. Hood held the longest plank record back in 2011 after holding the position for an hour and 20 minutes, but he lost it in 2016 in a head-to-head battle with China’s Mao Weidong, who managed to hold a plank for 8 hours and, 1 minute, and 1 second.
Its official and I’m so very proud of this one. Grateful for a TeamHood crew and support from around the world. Many thanks to Lis Begin at @beginproductions for her diligent work with GWR and the media outreach on my behalf. I’ll continue to share this experience as often as I can. With the setting of this particular GWR, I have officially retired the pose as I know it and will move onto other endeavors. This is the link to the GWR page detailing the event and our accomplishment. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/news/2020/2/a-retired-marine-just-broke-an-8-hour-plank-record-and-hes-62-years-old-609812 @renae.cobley @515fitnessinc @strengthaxle3d @diomariegrace @coffee.karen @beginproductions #pkank #worldrecords #mentalconditioning #teamhood #transformation #NowMattersNow
Hood, who has extensive military and law enforcement experience, set out to break the record to support a cause that’s close to him: destigmatizing mental illness and addressing it through fitness and professional help. He completed the record-breaking plank at 515 Fitness, a gym that does just that.
“When you’re in a combat situation, and even in law enforcement with the agents that I used to work with, we get involved in shootings,” Hood told CNN. “Some people don’t handle it well because they’re burdened with other issues that are running in the background, whether it be marital issues, kid issues or financial problems. Sometimes those things can push people over the edge and they don’t know how to flush it out, how to talk about it.
“But when they walk through the door at 515 Fitness, there’s hope because there’s licensed clinicians there and trainers that will help them get well,” Hood explained. His final time—8 hours, 15 minutes, and 15 seconds—was another way he paid tribute to the gym and its cause. He didn’t need to plank for more than 8 hours, 1 minute, and 1 second, but he opted to keep going to hit a number that included 515 in some way.
Leading up to his latest record, Hood trained for about 7 hours each day for 18 months, according to CNN. Guinness World Records reported that his training included a total of about 2,100 hours of planking.
“It’s 4-5 hours a day in the plank pose. Then I do 700 pushups a day, 2,000 situps a day in sets of a hundred, 500 leg squats a day,” Hood, who also runs marathons, told CNN. “For upper body and the arms, I do approximately 300 arm curls a day.”
With a training routine that rigorous, it’s no surprise that Hood is still breaking fitness world records at 62.
Now that he’s broken the plank record yet again, Hood says he’s retired—from planking, that is. His next goal is to break the Guinness World Record for most pushups in one hour, which is currently 2,806. If we had to guess, it’s not a matter of if he can, but when we will achieve it.

She is a force to be reckoned with and this collection reflects that.” The series includes platform high-tops and stilettos, with select styles emblazoned with the word “warrior.” While designing the collection, Davis had input from a group of fashion and design students from the University of Delaware, whom she mentored. “This collection features Victoria’s design aesthetic combined with the built-for-purpose, everyday functionality that’s so intrinsic to sportswear,” added Michael Parker, senior director of fashion at Reebok, in the release. “We want to continue to bring a fresh perspective on how sportswear can, and should, evolve, in line with the needs of our diverse lifestyles and a progressive approach to aesthetic.”
The two major fashion powerhouses started their collaborative efforts in April 2018 when Beckham joined forces with Shaquille O’Neal for a capsule. Beckham’s first individual collection debuted for spring ’19 and included Dual Court II and Bolton Lo sneakers.

Victoria Beckham Is Already Working Out in Her New Reebok Designs
Pensole Academy and sustainable shoe brand Allbirds are joining forces for a project that will introduce up-and-coming designers to sustainable fashion. The two are partnering for the launch of a new design master class focused on sustainable design to be held at Pensole.
“Teaming up with Allbirds for this program, we want to reshape the way aspiring designers view sustainability by having them incorporate it into their designs from the very beginning,” said Pensole founder D’Wayne Edwards. “Rather than focus on future innovation, we’re challenging our students to utilize existing resources in a way they’ve never been used before.”
Footwear and apparel designers are invited to submit designs inspired by household items such as an egg cartons, cupholders, mesh produce bags, coffee filters and teabags. Color and material designers are asked to submit a one-page color/materials mood board inspired by biodegradable items.
Said Edwards, “The central purpose is to help redefine what is considered sustainable by showcasing the creative process of people reusing and repurposing items.”
The class will take place from March 23 – April 10 at Pensole Academy in Portland, Ore. It will comprise design programs in footwear, color and materials, and apparel and accessories. Registration is now open until March 9 at Pensole.com. Twelve students will be selected to partake in the three-week class. Tuition and shared housing is free, and the winning designers could be selected for internships at Allbirds.
Direct-to-consumer footwear brand Allbirds, whose sustainably crafted wool sneakers have staked their claim as a tech-industry staple, is currently on the growth track and is seeking a new round of capital to bolster its sustainability credentials. It is currently raising a Series D funding round as it seeks to become carbon-positive — to remove more carbon dioxide from the planet than it produces. The sneaker brand plans to use the funds to invest in regenerative agriculture, renewable energy across its supply chain and the elimination of unrecycled plastics.
Over the past five years, sustainability has catapulted to the top of the fashion industry’s agenda as climate change becomes a hot button topic and an increasing number of consumers — particularly members of the Gen Z cohort — demand more eco-conscious wares.
